Not Just A One Trick Pony – “Behind the Curtain”

Not Just A One Trick Pony – “Behind the Curtain” is the first in what will become a series of art shows which explore the often hidden talent of the artists who can’t afford to indulge their passion full time. It is a celebration of artists who need to work a “regular job”, whether it is a 9-5 or the less traditional hours of most of our Behind the Curtain participants. Future shows in the series hope to feature the hidden artists from such professions as city workers, office employees, management personnel, computer specialists, teachers, finance personnel and anyone else that we – or you – can suggest.
“Behind the Curtain” will expose the alter egos of the hardworking unsung men & women who work the support roles behind the scenes in film, television and theatre. The target date for our show is early May 2008, in a yet-to-be-specified venue in downtown Toronto.
